Franz Ferdinand udgiver et greatest hits album Hits To The Head som udkommer d. 11. marts 2022 på Domino / Playground Music.
 
Samlingen vil bestå af 20 sange, som viser bandets verdensomspændende success fra deres debut i 2002 og til i dag.

Franz Ferdinands musik har gennem 19 år resoneret med mennesker over hele verden, hvor de er blevet et af de største engelske bands. De har solgt mere end 10 millioner albums, har 1.2 milliarder streams, 14 platinium albums, vundet Brit, Ivor Novello og Mercury Prize priser, fået Grammy-nomineringer og solgt flere end 6 millioner billetter til deres fantastiske liveshows.

Om at udvælge sange til albummet fortæller Alex Kapranos,
"It's the same as writing a set-list for a festival: you want to play the songs you know people want to hear. The hits. Bring the hits to the head. The heart. The feet. That means obvious singles, but also songs you know have a special meaning for both band and audience like Outsiders. We also added two new songs, recorded last year: Billy Goodbye and Curious, both co-produced at the last stage with Stuart Price. I have friends who believe you’re somehow not a “real” fan if you own a best of rather than a discography. I disagree. I think of my parents’ record collection as a kid. I loved their compilation LPs. I am so grateful that they had Changes or Rolled Gold. Those LPs were my entrance point. My introduction."

Lyt til den spritnye sang ’Billy Goodbye’ og se den tilhørende musikvideo HER, som er instrueret af Diane Martel, Ben Cole og Alex Kapranos selv. 
Udover 'Billy Goodbye' indeholder albummet yderligere en ny sang ‘Curious’ som er produceret af forsanger Alex Kapranos, Julian Corrie og Stuart Price (Dua Lipa, Madonna, Pet Shop Boys).
