RUN THE JEWELS SENDER NY SINGLE, 'LEGEND HAS IT', PÅ GADEN NYT ALBUM, “RTJ3”, UDE D. 13. JANUAR
I dag har Run The Jewels netop sendt singlen 'Legend Has It' ud – samtidig løfter de sløret for deres kommende album ”RTJ3”.

'Legend Has It' er taget fra Run The Jewels 3. album ”RTJ3”, som udkommer digitalt d. 13. januar og på CD/LP d. 20. januar.
Udover hip-hop-tag-teamet El-P og Killer Mike, så gæster Danny Brown, TV on the Radio's Tunde Adebimpe, BOOTS, Trina og Kamasi Washington også albummet.
På albummets cover har RTJ kreeret sine ikoniske håndsymboler og gjort dem til kunstværker ved at få dem støbt i metal, derpå forkromet for til sidst at få dem forgyldt. Statuetterne blev derpå fotograferet af Tim Saccentitil albumcoveret.
RTJ siger om albumcoveret: "For us, the RTJ1 hands were about ‘taking what’s yours’ - your world, your life, your attitude. The RTJ2 hands were wrapped in bandages, signifying injury and healing, which represented the growth in ideas and tone of that album. For RTJ3 the bandages are off, the chain is gone and the hands have been transformed into gold. For us this represents the idea that there is nothing to take that exists outside of yourself. You are the jewel.”
