tindersticks kunne igår udgive deres helt nye EP See My Girls, der udkommer på City Slang / Playground Music I Norden.
Sammen med See My Girls, udgiver tindersticks en video til titelsangen. Videoen er kreeret af Start A Staples og datteren Sidonie Osborne Staples.

EP’ens fire nye sange består af en radio version af ’See My Girls’, en instrumental dub version af singlen samt to nye sange – instrumentalen ’A Street Walker’s Carol’, skrevet af David Boulter, og ’Blood And Bone’, med Sidonie på vokal.
See My Girls, der følger op på det anmelderroste album No Treasure But Hope fra 2019, vil være tilgængelig på 12” d. 7. februar.
Om sangen ’See My Girls’ og den tilhørende video fortæller Stuart A Staples:
“’See My Girls’ is a song about isolation, tourism, migration, and as part of No Treasure but Hope about the beauty and terror of the world. It was written on Ithaca and from the perspective of a small island, looking out with wonder and apprehension across the sea and beyond. The film is a collaboration with my daughter Sidonie Osborne Staples. After much preparation and experimentation, she made a continuous, layered illustration of her interpretation of the song, around 50mm high and 3m in length.”
tindersticks begynder deres fem-måneder-lange turné den 29. januar i Belgien. Turnéen bringer dem blandt andet forbi Denmark, hvor bandet spiller en udsolgt koncert på Vega d. 25. april samt en ekstrakoncert d. 26. april. Der er stadig mulighed for at købe billetter til sidstnævnte koncert.
